iv. In describing this show in 3 sentences or less, I’d say:
This mini-festival will vibrate ecstatically between composition and improvisation. The first night will feature groups performing music from upcoming releases on the soon-to-be relaunched local label “Drip Audio” label.  The following two nights will see unprecedented, unrepeatable, and unmissable* music meetings between international innovators, cross-Canada all-stars, and local lights.

v. Something uniquely ‘Vancouver’ about this show is:
These shows will put on display the greatness of some very talented local musicians, performing in a variety of different musical formations and styles. The performances will take place at The Ironworks, a beautiful and iconic venue used every year by the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

.

vi. Some of the performances/events you’ll see at this show are:
3 nights of music by a cast of musicians from here and from out-of-town that will be creating something new on the bandstand together.

• Feven Kidane with Tony Wilson
• Eylem Basaldi with Torsten Müller and Gordon Grdina
• Josh Zubot and Strings
• Jay Clayton with Róisín Adams and Jen Yakamovich
• SICK BOSS
• Alex Hawkins and Kate Gentile with Francois Houle
• (And more)

.

.

vii. At this show, you’ll also see me performing in..
A group that I write and play the guitar for called, SICK BOSS, which features Peggy Lee on cello, Joshua Zubot on violin and JP Carter on trumpet. We have some new tunes prepared that we’re excited to share in this room. The writing is an equal balance of lush locked togetherness with plenty of departures towards wild open noise.
