If you’re lucky, you might have tasted those yummy lemon square samples at Granville Island. In 2015, co-founder Chef Dan Spratling told us that the much hunted-down lemon recipe travelled here with him from Australia. Courtesy, that is, of his mother. As he said: “I have to give credit to my Mum or she will kill me!”

Spratling and co-founder Wally Mitchell described how much they enjoyed meeting other local artisans as they moved from market to market. “We met some really fun people,” says Mitchell. “It’s a great community.”

Now, you can order goodies from The Lemon Square and ~40 other local food vendors through the Got Craft? Virtual Foodie Market 2022. The market – and curbside pick-up – runs from Thursday, February 3rd to Sunday, Feb 6th. The site is, however, live now, and plenty of vendors offer shipping options.
