Grey Owl Cheese
The great grey owl is a merciless predator. With its massive wing span and hushed approach, the grey can hunt effectively by night or day. If it hears a wee creature creeping under packed snow, the grey owl can smash down with its spiked talons, break through the snow crust and snatch up its dinner.
With its grey-veined ash rind and melting, snowy-white interior, Grey Owl Cheese evokes the story of these formidable birds. This creamy, citrus-tinged goat cheese is made at Fromagerie Le Détour in Notre-Dame-Du-Lac, Quebec and has won multiple international awards.
Here, in Vancouver, you can find Grey Owl Cheese at Benton Brother’s Fine Cheese.
