Joshua Jensen-Nagle’s Never Ending Summer
“I use photography as a medium to create, rather than document,” talented Canadian photographer Joshua Jensen-Nagle told us last year, “allowing the viewer to bring their own associations to the images. My photographs are often described as dream-like and evocative, as I attempt to draw the viewer into the work and experience the feeling they have to offer.”
In his current show – Never Ending Summer II, launched July 4th at Vancouver’s Bau-Xi Gallery – Jensen-Nagle displays works from his travels to Portugal, Italy, and Israel.
And where does Nagle get his inspiration? “From everything,” he says. “Everywhere I’ve been and everything I’ve experienced in life.”
Here’s a peek at a few of the works from Never Ending Summer II, hung physically at the South Granville Gallery until July 16th.
