Once again, Gabriola Island is hosting its Thanksgiving Studio Tour. This year, 65 artists will be participating across 56 different workspace open to the public.

Included in this exciting group is the ever-gifted jewellery artist, Laura Handford of Moonshine Studio. We are delighted to talk to her about what she will have on offer..

Hand forged silver and gold jewellery with beautiful gems

Some beautiful Chiapas amber with silver and gold detail.

vi. One thing I learn about myself in creating this type of work is:
To trust my instincts and create what I love,  someone else may love it too!

vii. One highlight of my career from over the last few years has been:
Meeting and connecting with people who are drawn to my work. I meet great people and am always thrilled to connect on jewellery, adornment and life in general.

viii. After this tour, I’m looking forward to: 
Settling into a slower pace for Fall and Winter. making soups, being creative, being with friends and family.
