Happy Lunar New Year! As we welcome the Year of the Ox in the same week that we celebrate Valentines Day, many of our houses are festooned in red. And, many of us are looking forward to ringing in the weekend with sweets and treats.

Popular Vancouver chocolatier, Gem Chocolates, has concocted special chocolates to carry us through Sunday. Featured in our header is the Raspberry Inspiration which, Gem Founder and Chocolatier Glenn Knowles explains, is: “a new chocolate made by Valrhona using just cocoa butter, cane sugar and freeze-dried raspberry for an intense burst of flavour and a rich red colour inside.”

Also on offer  are: “Some like It Hot  – it’s our habanero-infused ganache that packs a punch of spicy heat!”
