Sóller Strolling
What’s not to like about a town known for its homemade lemon ice cream, freshly squeezed orange juice, Art Nouveau landmarks, artisan jewellery, leather, ceramics, and a 100+ year old wooden train that pulls up into a station bedecked with artwork from Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso?
Board the train in Sóller – located on the north west coast of the Spanish island of Mallorca – and, in an hour, it will clickety-clack you to Palma de Mallorca where Miro lived from 1956 to his death in 1983.
But, before you leave: do take some time to explore this beautiful little town which must no longer fear invasions from treasure-wise pirates.

.
And on the way into the station, for the vintage train ride back to Parma, a small selection of the Picasso ceramics and Miró artworks on view…
