iv. In describing the show in 3 sentences or less, I’d say:
This is a group show of 5 artists exploring the contemporary context through abstract painting and sculpture.

v. In the show, you’ll see:
3 large oil on canvas paintings of mine that combine instinctive, figurative structure with abstracted, painterly gesture. They are loud and unapologetic. 
 
vi. The inspiration for this show comes from:
Exploring the versatility of oil painting while considering issues of  our consumption of cultural images and narratives.

vii. One challenge in developing this show was:
Deciding which are the most poignant paintings to include from a large body of recent work.

viii. My past work includes:
My most recent solo exhibition at The Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art which ran from May to September 2019.
 
ix. Putting a new show out into the world feels:
I love the challenge. I love being consumed creatively when I’m working for a deadline.
 
x. After this show, I’m looking forward to:
Painting a 3000 square foot outdoor walled patio mural for BC Children’s Hospital and art directing a documentary on the developmental history of HIV in Canada.
