Victoria Street Art
Victoria is a great city to wander about on foot, popping in and out of water views, looking for dynamic street art.

On this latest visit, we found a vibrant mural by Victoria artist, Nicole Majcher, a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design. ‘My artwork is about the power of iconography and symbolism and mathematics,’ she writes. ‘Each piece is created with a concentrated calculated sense of angles and ratios between colour and form.’

In April, Majcher says: ‘I painted a mural on the corner of Quadra and View St. in Victoria as a community enhancement project. With a limited budget and timeline, I had 3 days to turn a 770sq ft wall into an exciting visual landscape. It was painted with the understanding that whoever rents the building for their business can choose to cover it up at any time (the building is not rented yet).’
Fingers crossed that the new tenants decide to keep Majcher’s vibrant wall.
ll into an exciting visual landscap
