Watson Kennedy

If you want to see a beautifully curated space, filled with unique finds and the work of local artists, check out Watson Kennedy, on First Avenue, down from the Seattle Art Museum. It’s one of those places where you need multiple rounds to check out all of the different vignettes.

The Watson Kennedy store was founded by Ted Kennedy Watson and named after his father, his name in reverse. Prior to opening this design hub, founder Ted worked as a tennis pro and as part of the creative team for Bill and Melinda Gates’ wedding.

‘I want to inspire people to light a candle, set a stunning dinner table, or hand write a note: time will slow down and we become more aware of our surroundings. The shops are a reflection of that quality and my life, my travels, and the things I love.’
